This is a holding page for TranslateDesign, a product that is still in development. We've kept it simple so there's very little to tell you.
What we collect
Nothing directly. This site has no sign-in, no forms and no newsletter sign-up. The only thing we measure is how the site is used, through Google Analytics, and only if you say yes.
Analytics, only if you accept
When you first visit, we ask whether we can use Google Analytics. If you choose Reject, or don't choose, it doesn't load and no analytics cookies are set. If you choose Accept, it helps us see how many people visit and which pages they read. We rely on your consent for this, and you can withdraw it at any time.
Google Analytics records things like the pages you view, how long you stay, the site that sent you, your browser, device type and screen size, and your approximate location (country or city, worked out from your IP address). It doesn't tell us who you are, and we don't use it to identify you. Google provides the service and processes this information for us, and may do so outside the UK. You can read how in Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
If you accept, Google Analytics sets two cookies:
_gatells one visitor from another. It lasts up to 2 years._ga_followed by a code for this site keeps track of your visit. It lasts up to 2 years.
We also keep your choice in your browser's local storage, so we don't ask on every page. It isn't sent to us, and we ask again after 12 months. We don't set any other cookies.
Changing your choice
Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page to change your mind. If you switch to Reject, we stop Google Analytics and delete its cookies from this site. You can also clear cookies in your browser's settings at any time.
Hosting
Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, so that it can deliver pages to you and keep the service secure. We don't use that information to identify or track you.
When the product launches
Uploading plans and joining the waitlist will involve handling your information and your drawings. Before that happens we'll update this page to explain what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Changes
We'll update this page when anything changes, and show the date at the top.
